iPad
Re: iPad
You can be sure it's going to be on everything they make now that they are going all in on Apple Pay. There's no other way that will ever take off.

Re: iPad
What I don’t get is Apple Pay is supposed to work via the Apple Watch and as far as we know there’s no Touch ID on it. What’s the point of using your watch if you also have to have your phone in hand?
Re: iPad
I'm dead set on holding out for the next iPad. It'll be my first
. Ugh. The patience is killing me.
I've wanted An iPad for a very long time. My primary justifications for holding out are:
1. CPU. For music, all I can get my hands on is best
2. Fingerprint ID. Because I'm spoiled by my 5s, and now whenever I touch an old ios device, I forget I'm supposed to swipe that shit. Takes too long..

You simply wave the watch and the payment is made via magic. It's going to work the same with making a woman orgasm. What might have taken a very long time will now happen instantly with a wave of the watch and you can then get about your day's business.
God Bless you, Apple. GOD BLESS YOU.

Re: iPad
Got a shipping estimate date for my iPhone 6.
October 15 - October 31.
WHAT. FUCK. WHAT?!?!?
After my epic journey starting a little before midnight pre-order eve well documented in this very thread I'm not getting it until at least 3 weeks after release?!?!?
I even saw on the Apple site the morning after my order on the AT&T site my model only had a week delay from release day.
I don't even care about not having the iPhone on release day, its the principle of having to go through all this horseshit since Friday only to the get told I might receive it the same day as somebody who just placed their order today.
You know what I'm going to do about it?!?!? Continue to whine in this thread. That will be just about as affective as anything else I could possibly do.

Re: iPad
1password for iOS is free for a limited time, normally $10. I had my parents put it on their iPhone in case they want to use it down the road and ironically they both busted out booklets of all their passwords in order to find their Apple ID password.
Re: iPad
When upgrading to iOS 8 DO NOT setup iCloud Drive. You won't be able to access files unless you have iOS 8 on all your portable devices and OSX Yosemite on your Macs. That's right, not even on the current OSX. If you set it up there's no going back. Just skip that step for later.
Re: iPad
iOS 8 updates went fine here on both the Air and iPhone5, so I got brave and installed the Yosemite beta too. That's working fine as well, only one minor niggle with the Live beta that I'm sure will get sorted fast. I skipped the iCloud thing for now, I want to read more about it before I turn that on.
Otherwise Yosemite is a really nice change of pace, the different fonts everywhere are a sight for sore eyes. New Safari and iTunes are nice as well, though I keep thinking I'm in the old iTunes while using Safari.
I've heard the Korg apps have issues with iOS8 but updates are waiting for approval already. Some audiobus issues supposedly, but I haven't tested that yet myself.
