IRCAMAX: Cutting Edge Sound Transformation in Live

I posted this in the MAX forum but I am not sure how many users use it so I am posting again in the main forum:

I just saw these Max4Live devices listed on Ableton's web page...
Does anyone have any experience with these?
Price tag is a bit high, so I am curious...
I did a little research...we're these available for free at one time?

I am looking for devices for live manipulation...it appears that is the function of these devices.
Anyone have any other recommendations?

Having this Ircam devices now available in Live is immense, imho. I layer them against my audio tracks to get some new timbral additions, for instance. Priceless.

Got them yesterday after playing for a while with the demo of IracmLab TS. SuperVPSynth is a sort of equivalent to TS, and you get interesting and stranges sounds out of it. The other effects are also excellent, you can really add original colors to your tracks.

I did not know that they had already presented Ircamax 2. I am interested!
