MIDI driving me CRAZI

Post by luxxury » Sat Oct 25, 2014 7:25 pm

I woke up with a Kafkaesque problem: I have one session where there's one G, G1, right by middle C, that refuses to play.

I can't play this note on any VST using any controller or keyboard. BUT: I can play it using the computer keyboard. It is the weirdest thing! I can open a new session or an unhosted VST and the note plays just fine on any of the same controllers. Same goes with any other session. It's just this one session!

Any idea what might be causing this, or how to fix?

SO WEIRD.

Go into midi mapping mode and see if G1 is assigned.

Similarly, try changing the midi channel on any of those keyboards.

YES. I'd assigned it by mistake. I knew it was a simple thing right before my eyes. THANK YOU!!
