Great man, nice person, true gentelman, for me his name will be there with Stradivarius, Steinway forever, groundbreaking innovation. There were and will be many electronic instruments but I am yet to hear one that would come close to that increadible Moog sound.

wow... makes me very sad!

just yesterday i did a performance on one of his wonderful etherwave theremins. playing this thing once again let me experience the deep joy of making music, and i'm very thankful for the big amount of love that mr. moog apparently put into all these instruments that he created.

although i never met him, i feel like i lost a friend..

music as we know it wouldn't be the same if he hadn't pioneered synthesis.
you should check out his work and see the moog movie.....you actually already know the outcome of his work if you're not deaf. it's everywhere.
