tracks vs. loops

Have question for the more experienced users here...
I am looking to set up sets of free and open original music some with groove some without..
If I set up loops to be triggered as scenes woudl you advise making seperate scenes for lets say total sons that need to play from start to finish
and break up for sections that I need to manipulate..
Lets say I want to play a verse and a chorus as one scene..
then trigger to a loop that we can jam over endlessly..
as another loop and then back to the verse chorus scene 1x
Will the program let me cue in during the play of the non looped segment and play right into the next..

sorry to not be clear
basically wondering if the clips will play to end and go into another clip that can loop
then perhaps with a way to go to next clip or scene on the fly
I think that better explains what I am trying to do..
The straight through grooves are cool but the loops that we intend to improvise over(kind of jazzy jams)are the sections I am trying to get a clear concept on how to manage
