It's true. The memory card for Electribe samplers have always been for external storage only, not loading directly from it on the fly. You've always had to load samples into the onboard memory first with electribe samplers before you can actually make use of them and it's no different with the new one. The new electribe sampler will not load more than its maximum sampling capacity of 270 seconds of samples onboard at once (at 48khz in mono, half that in stereo), period, regardless of what size SD card you have.

Yeah, then I'm probably gonna sit this one out :x

I would have much preferred it, if they would have indeed made it out of plastic, but gave it at least a gig or so of internal memory instead. I mean memory is really not expensive nowadays. This is not the 80s anymore. What a really dumb decision from them! :x
