What, no stickers?
You are somehow convinced that I'm against people connecting. Not the case. Again, my point is simply that the giddiness with which people attach themselves to brands and flaunt logos as a badge of (to use your word) "familial" inclusion is an unsettling trend.
My reason for visiting the forum this week was to find a solution to a technical issue - something I find myself doing w/ increasing frequency. I responded to this thread partly because it seems that any software user would prefer that an innovative developer focus on refining their craft as opposed to responding to cries for freebies and fashion accessories.

Who really cares about stickers? A decade of music geeking and ive thrown away all of them, especially the Behringer ones, and the maaaaassive Alesis ones a few years back. Ive finally gotten over my box-lust and i purchased Ableton 5 upgrade via the download... and saved a lot. Good to cut out the manufacturer middleman too. However if stickers rock your world then enjoy them Here in Australia theres a pile of Ableton stickers and Ableton Live demo cds at most pro music stores which is a cool little marketing policy for a product like Ableton that is reaching a critical mass of ditribution and product branding might.

It's illegal to use corporate logos on cafepress items unless you yourself own them.EddyTheEagle wrote:go to www.cafepress.com and design it yourself LOL

Funny how things change
There was a time when I was the most ardent Apple fanboi--I would have put that apple sticker on anything. Not for the last few years though.
The companies that have made the software tools I am most enamored with are Opcode (and now Cycling 74), Propellerheads and Ableton. Only the Ableton sticker gets put on my car. For hardware I was very fond of many Roland products but with all the stuff I bought I never possessed a Roland sticker of any kind.
