Hi,
So I would like to take a group of 8 clips and drag them into the Browser window into a folder I have created in the User Library.
When I do this, instead of seeing 8 clips saved into the folder, Live creates a .als file that contains the 8 clips. I don't want this .als file to be created.
I would like to just be able to drag 8 clips into the User Library, and they show up in the user library as 8 individual clips that have no attachment to any .als file.
Is this possible?
Thanks guys.

How to Save Multiple Clips Into User Library At One Time
Re: How to Save Multiple Clips Into User Library At One Time
i haven't found away around this. It's better to just accept it and move on and use the ALS as part of your organization process.

another thing to try is using finder. you can point it at a folder and sort by ALC or search by file type. I've messed with it a bit and didn't fall in love but maybe you'll find a way that works for you
Pros: powerful search
Cons: takes you out of ableton
