an alternative bit reduction plug?

Post by swishniak » Fri Jan 02, 2015 10:06 pm

can anyone recommend a plug (aside from the native Ableton) for bit reduction?

ive been enjoying the 8 + 12 bit crunchiness of some old outboard stuff recently and would love to have that in the box, and the native one isnt doing it for me.

thanks in advance!

d16 decimort is pretty good

Many distortion plugs also have some sort of bit reduction in them

For me TAL Bitcrusher does all the work just fine. It's a freebie too.

It's so sad all TAL greats are 32bit only.
