Ableton Vs Bitwig

Just thought I'd kick off a discussion (which may dissovle into an argument).About what if anything is better about Bitwig than Ableton? Now the DAW has had enough time for people to get to grips with it I'm intersted to see if it lived up to the massive hype and buzz it recieved?

recently demoed bitwig again, v1.1. And have to say I'm very impressed with it. Much better than when it was just released.
So impressed that I might make the switch.

workflow, audio/midi in one track, bounce in place, overall snappy behaviour, better automation then Live.
I'd say...demo it to see for yourself. The only thing I can't test it with is the stress of a full size project. I'm not over the line yet, but it certainly got me thinking.

bitwig is going to be one amazing piece of software, but as someone who regrets purchasing it, I can tell you from experience it only takes so long to encounter some massive bugs. Big Mac OS X multiple display bug, audio files being deleted bug, bad track duplication bug when duplicating multiple tracks. Overall features to me like hot swap and a spectrum EQ are also needed to make the switch.

I will buy it once the real-time online collaboration becomes a thing. Assuming it doesn't suck of course.

Some things are just awesome in bitwig. As mentioned, I like the automation better (and it's more flexible) pdc isn't a huge looming thing, interesting workflow (quite nice) the ability to use clips and arrangement at the same time is fun, push is compatible (in most ways) and it's not crash-happy. Also, other than the holidays getting in the way, they do a pretty good job of bug fixes. Oh, and it is terrific for mucking around with audio.

but...

CPU use is not very good (something I didn't really figure out until after I got it and started working on projects in it) it does have some annoying bugs. I don't like how it's easy to get clips/parts started oddly because of the fact it doesn't automatically snap back and it can be glitchy when changing scenes.

Overall I like using it. It's just different than live, certainly not a replacement.
