Nice.

Reminds me of the time, many moons ago, when I had a Minimoog perched atop a Fender Rhodes. I ran the Rhodes into the Moog for some wonderful clangorous sounds. Looks like you're doing the same. :)

Actually I am running the Tempest through the Voyager in mono. You gotta love that overdriven drum sounds you can produce with the Moog filter! I considered running the Rhodes through it, but it is such a bassy instrument to begin with. But I could probably do some fun things with the LFOs and such :) I love everything about this setup :) Now if only it were an Voyager XL model… mmh… :)

finally contributing to my 2nd favourite thread here on the board.

i was changing location several times past 4 years so heres how my setup evolved along the way:

last two are current. no cats unfortunately, they really don't like relocating.

theres quite some overlap between the controllers, but theres always something that each one does best. for the live set that i will start preparing soon i still havent decided which ones its gonna be though. its just too much to take care of alltogehter in a live situation i think. also simply too heavy. the case with all the stuff inside is around 35 kg excluding push and the floor boards.

lastly, happy ending with genuine gear porn  :

Yes i'm german. Never been to zhuhai but i know macao and foshan. They have a F1 race track there no?

In the pearl river delta theres quite a lot of really good places to live at that so few people outside of china know about. Lots of things happening there. Party scene is evolving, theres more and more concerts and festivals. I lived there for almost 4 years. I could literally watch things growing every year.

I'm planning to go back to china this summer. Its gonna be beijing though for job reasons. Not quite the same environmental quality but bj already has a small music underground scene so maybe thats just the right place for me. I always wanted to be in a place where things are just about to be happening.

May i ask what you did in zhuhai? Pm maybe?

Thanks. It's just different scales to help me when I was playing chord progressions.

Now that I don't have to be ashamed of my monitors, I can finally post pics of my setup.

The rack in the second pic is the same one shown from the side on the left of the first pic, so it's positioned at an angle right behind me when I'm seated at the desk, or to my immediate left when I'm playing the 61-key keyboard.

That rack reminds me of PLC programming when I used to work in biotech. :)
