Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
ableton please fix this bug:
when modulating the volume of an audio track or return track with a max for live lfo or auxillary envelope, it creates harsh clipping/scratching and zipper sounds. this is on any version of live, at any buffer setting, and on a fast or a slow computer. this is a really rough bug and i hope ableton fixes this immediately.

Use a Utility instead?! It's better work practice to leave the track faders unused for things like this anyways.graphixsounds wrote:ableton please fix this bug:

Which is not to say that they shouldn't fix that.

No! No fake 3d, now when Yosemite and Windows 8 is more flatland than ever. The minimialistic Live is great as it is. just need multiple resolution support (Retina).oneder wrote:Can we have some improvement of the Gui 3d gradients and the like, that 2d look is getting old especially in arrangement view I hate looking at it. Rounded clips that set apart from each other would be nice...

+1m.nash wrote: * No bouncing group audio – this means all the effects on the group channel are not frozen, and I have to bounce each track in the group separately which is time consuming
* Anything with side chain compression won't freeze/bounce – which for me and many EDM producers applies to most tracks
* Freezing applies to all clips on that track, not just to highlighted sections in the arrangement view – basically I use the clips view to store ideas, but if I have too many by the time I need to start freezing it takes for ever to free the track, so I effectively have to delete all the clips.

-Fix push
-if you record an audio file, using delete should delete it. Used to be that way.
-have something to fix the side buttons to be brighter
-have the focus of push stay on a recorded track
-improve focus when ableton is not the focused window (acting up lately)
-have metronome sound off at beginning of record EVEN IF that clip is already recorded (annoying! )
-improved 3rd party plug controls
-way to have plug in windows open AND close via controller
-fix all footpedal latency
-shift/master volume for something useful, like scrolling through tracks or plugins.
-Fix Live
-PDC, just do it, quit lollygagin' around
-Work with people on getting M4L more stable for the general user
-fix issue with cpu not being able to go past a certain point for most users
-Add to Live
-more focused group controls for opening/closing
-auto record arm for audio tracks
-auto regroup for midi/audio tracks. For example, "arrange by name" or "type"
-transpose for midi. The m4l one doesn't work because it pitches drums too (which sucks)
-Quantize all clips
-drag/drop groove all clips
-auto updater for packs OR AT LEAST a warning that a pack is not up to date
-auto crash report sender
-basic audio editor in scene clips (like select/delete at least) and preferably a pencil tool!
-sub groups
-mulitple project open and an organizer for projects (similar to studio one? )
-BOUNCE IN PLACE
-color according to type. Instead of having to go through EVERY song and recolor either as you go or after the fact, have an auto color for a group/type. This might be overly picky but I feel overly picky tonight.
-talent generator. Let's face it, most of us need it j/k

Dream on puppies! Ableton is a joke! There will never be a version 10.........
Bitwig/1.0.5 - Ableton/Live 8 - Apple/MacPro-2.8Ghz-8Core-RAID - Samsung/SM-P2770H 27" - Yamaha/HS80M/HS10W - Behringer/BCR/BCF - Allen & Heath/Xone:3D - Sennheiser/HD25-13 - Native Instruments/Komplete9/Traktor Pro
Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
Well, there will never be a 9.2
That seems to be evident.
I just have given up on all the wants/desires and use it the way it works.....quirks/problems and all..

So your theory is that there will be 9.1.9 update and then a 9.1.9.1 and a 9.1.9.2 and so on? Well, that sounds as plausible as vinyl surpassing digital sales. It could happen but considering the alternatives…eyeknow wrote:Well, there will never be a 9.2

It's called "sarcasm" and that is quite a conclusionStromkraft wrote:So your theory is that there will be 9.1.9 update and then a 9.1.9.1 and a 9.1.9.2 and so on? Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
1. full PDC
2. aftertouch
2. aftertouch
Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
PDC and layered editing! Copy the good features from Bitwig since they did the same from Ableton!
But hurry up or they will overtake you...

Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
A stable Live is my wish. No CPU spikes, no samples randomly being dropped. It seems like after two years my 800 dollar investment should work as advertised.
Re: Live 9.2 wish list (I know this soon?)
It's the slowest loading DAW I have. Of course there's that browser thingy everyone complains about.
Auto update actually work - you have no clue if it's doing it's job. I left a DAW on overnight and it didn't update.
