Password reset requests
I've been getting a lot of password request notification emails recently. Both for my Ableton account and my Soundcloud account. Anyone else? I'm thinking there's a music-hating hacker around. Oh! Or maybe just someone who hates mine!

Re: Password reset requests
Yeah, I received eight password reset requests from SoundCloud a couple days ago. And I got about 22 in one day from SoundCloud about three weeks ago.
Definitely something funny going on...

Basically whenever you draw attention to your tracks on here somebody is highly envious and wants to make them their own. It’s a compliment.
It's also a standard practice that's part of the advertising bombs on here.

I was thinking of letting Soundcloud know so they can track IPs but I guess they've already had feedback on it. Thanks for your comments.

You know that he probably reads the forums too and is probably overjoyed that he has such a big impact?!eyeknow wrote:It's cprezzz. (you know, the most infamous ableton site hacker eva )

Ignoring this guy is the only thing we (as not Ableton!) can do to limit his influence over the forum.

He's signed up over at KVR now. I wonder if he'll be able to hack them?
