Hi, it's me again. With my endless ponderings with request for help.
This time around I'm trying to mimic the delayed synths used heavily in the 80s. Something like the one Madonna had on her debut 'Everybody'. But it's more evident in the Annie song 'greatest hit' that samples said song. Give it a listen here:

(it's that wi-ti-wi-ti-ti-ti sound I'm after)
How do I recreate it or is it featured on a old synth? There's something really rythmic and unique about this kind of sound that just makes you want to dance.
Thanks!
Please Help! Delayed 80s/Madonna Synth?

That is a very generic sound that you could make in pretty much any analog synth or plugin, has a Roland Jupiter/Juno edge to it (which would be about right for the time). Add some filtering or sidechain compress a hi hat to drive a solid chord sound or something and you'll be close.
