how about Ive fixes that during his fucking commute, like today.
Did you try asking Siri that question?
I don't have to every morning, but I do seem to get that popup sporadically for no reason.
Re: iPad
because Siri is a lazy bitch who spends more time spinning her wheel and saying a long winded form "what?" than helping me with anything meaningful... and to this day, i have not found a way to make her correct her dictation errors... which are not uncommon.
that's why
that's why

Re: iPad
I have no clue what I use iCloud for and when. I believe I just use it for iOS backups and my music library…and maybe photos for the 2 photos a month I snap.

I actually use the hell out of it. As a way to sync projects across different machines I find it to be a great solution.LoopStationZebra wrote:FUCK iCLOUD
As far as sharing things a la Dropbox or Google Drive they seriously need to get their head's out of their asses and make that happen with it.

How is iCloud a better solution for syncing projects than using Dropbox?

I pay $4 per month for 200GB. I need plenty of space because I have my dissertation backed up and synced across all computers and devices. It handles backup for all of my iOS devices. It's integrated more seamlessly into the OS X/iOS ecosystem.beats me wrote:stringtapper wrote:I actually use the hell out of it. The only downside is the sharing aspect and they need to get that shit together.

Hm, I pay $10 a month for 1TB with Dropbox. Probably don’t need that much space but it’s nice to have and Apple charges twice as much for that much storage. I mostly use it just to backup my music projects and occasionally share files/projects with my roommate.
Oh, and I have it setup to automatically backup the (very few) photos I take with my iPhone as soon as I snap the picture because Apple’s own solution is shit. It somehow deleted all the photos off my phone that were taken before 2014 and they aren’t backed up in the cloud either.

Rocking the ODESZA Pandora station at work and buying an irresponsible amount of tracks from it, but Pandora connecting to iTunes on my iPad is so wonky that it’s a lot quicker for me to just manually type in the song title in iTunes on my iPhone and buy tracks that way.

That's how progress works. The iPhone 20 will have a 50 inch screen.stringtapper wrote:Just got a 128GB iPhone 6 Plus.
Thing is fucking huge. Like almost embarrassingly huge.
You just slip it on, like a turtle shell. Every time you hug someone, you'll go 'bonggg!'
