timeless electro records

Post by peeddrroo » Mon Aug 29, 2005 10:52 am

i've noticed something about most of the "electronic music" records i have bought: after a while (usually not long), i get fed up with them or don't think to play them at all anymore.
a few of them still make it to my CD player regularly though. i call them "timeless", and i'd like everyone to post what theirs are.
records that you think you'll still be listening to in 20 years.

ok, so here are my first thoughts:
- prefuse73: one word extinguisher / uprock narrative...
- les rythmes digitales: revolution
- amon tobin: bricolage / permutation / out from out where
- warp mix CD: BLECH
- the avalanches: since you've left
- bugge wesseltoft: change
- aphex twin: come to daddy EP

that's all i can think of right now. contribute!

Jan Hammer - Don't you know. Also '73 I believe. S+H bass and all the trimmings - AIR are still trying to nail the sound of this one.

vangellis - bladerunner (original soundtrack)
