MIDI clip editing via keyboard confusion... bug?

Anyone else notice that MIDI editing via computer keyboard works differently in Clip and Arrange views? For example, try selecting some notes in a MIDI clip in Arrange view. Press the left/right/up/down keys on your keyboard. The notes stay selected. Now try doing the same in Clip view. Notes deselect after the first move. Sup wit dat?? Me thinks this is a bug. Please enlighten me if otherwise.
