quantizing crossfader

I am wondering if there is any way for me to quantize when the crossfader is affected if I map the crossfader to jump from one side to the other with a button. I want to jump back into one track exactly on beat. there must be a way to do this but I cant figure out how.

There's not a native way within Ableton as far as i'm aware... Maxforlive or CliphX would do this however it's a big workaround for what effectively is solved with a bit of practise and timing...
