drum rack sample on pad chromatically played

Hi Ableton Community,

is it possible to play a sample on a pad in drum rack chromatically.
Like the funktion in maschina and the mpc you push a button and than you can play
the choosen pad sample chromatically

Yes mate.

You looking to play, say, 5 snares but each on a different pad and each one tuned or pitched differently?

Drag your drum sounds to the pads you want to use in Drum Rack (probably dragging the same drum sound to each pad). Then you need to click on a pad - notice the sampler device that appears to the right? Go in to that and adjust the transpose one pad at a time. E.g. Drum A = 0, Drum B=+1 semitone, Drum C=+2 semitones, etc.

I think he means having each sample use only one slot, but able to play chromatically (including chords) by selecting it.

Oh, I see. My bad - not a Maschine user. I know you can layer samples on a single slot in Drum Rack, but I don't know much else that will help. So in Maschine you can have one sound in a slot, but that one slot has multiple pitches?
