How do I get the manual for...

Post by macmidiguy » Sat Sep 03, 2005 4:35 pm

I recently purchased M-Audio Audiophile USB.

With the said USB device there was a "free" Live version 4: OS X and OS 9.

I am working in OS X ( PANTHER ) and do not have OS 9 installed on this Mac.

The User Manual English.pdf wants to open the "classic" pdf application.

In order for me to run that I have to go to another computer that has OS 9.

Where is the OS X "preview" version of that manual?

I was somewhat surprised that there is no OS X version of the "on line" manual.

Is that the same in LIVE 5 ?

As long as you do your homework and don't expect to be spoon-fed, you'll find tons of help from some great people on this forum. I started by reading the 'Ableton Live 4 Power!' book I got from Amazon. I'm sure there's a 5 version on the way. The Live 5 manual is far better than the 4 version was, too.

Have fun! :D
