In Noah Pred's Push 2 review, he mentions that for Push 2, "Ableton opted for a slick anodized aluminum top plate here that seems to have eliminated this issue for good."

The surface area is larger so its probably better at it than push 1.

In Noah Pred's Push 2 review at the end he says the screen is easily scratched that seems a bit worrying
i wonder what he did to find that out

The top is aluminum now as mentioned, not that sticky rubber coating, so it's a lot better when it comes to dust IMO.

its good to know the dust issues are a lot better
its been a crazy couple of days with ableton dropping a double whammy of 9.5 and the push 2 8O
im saving hard to get updated to push 2
and then just think of the future updates as well
its all to much i need to lie down in a dark room

I'm using the very space-age polystyrene packaging to cover Push 2 when I'm not using it. Saves £40 for a Decksaver and I like the silver Push logo… :)

I'd say it's dust ready by as much as 50% until they incorporate slice marker placement from the screen. :?
ctrl + left/right = select transient

ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients

ctrl + space = play selection
