Live 9.5 Simpler "Slice to SAME Midi Track"

Small request, this feature would save several clicks. Currently I am having to slice to a "New" midi track, then drag that midi clip back to the Simpler channel I am working on and delete the newly created channel.

can you not just convert the Simpler when in slice mode to a drum rack which puts the slices to a drum rack like the slice to MIDI used to do?

This doesn't create the midi clip though. Only way to create that clip is by slicing to a drum rack on a new midi track.....
