AV Depot London 5th of December

VJ London crew presents a unique event combining interactive installations and audiovisual performances from a roster of cutting edge international artists from Brazil, UK, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland and Poland whos work has graced The Big Chill, Burning Man, Wired Magazine, Shambala, Glastonbury, BFI, Barbican Centre, Generate, Sophia Arts and Kinetika amongst many others.

Prepare to be amazed by the wide range of styles. Generative visuals, motion capture, sensors and video mapping will all feature in this eclectic mix which will showcase current and emerging trends in digital arts.

Right on, although I’m nowhere near London. IMO the visual artists have been way more important to great EDM shows over the past decade than the music producer doing whatever it is they do (or don’t do) behind their soapbox table.

I should really drop by - it's a 20 minute walk from where I live...

argghh but I've given up alcohol for 2 months now, which for me is a total miracle. Going to any event/bar/gig without even having a drink or two is absolute hell. I've tried it.

I did that for a brief spell, but I convinced myself that a music lover shouldn’t have to be buzzed/drunk/high to enjoy music in a public setting. Even danced like a drunk retard while sober. That took a little more effort to get in that zone but it was kind of freeing once I got there. Plus I could talk and dance circles around all the drunk people. A real test in confidence. And I remembered everything the next day and didn't have the idiot shivers about something I possibly didn't remember but I had my suspicions. :)

i had my 'wall hung copper based artwork' installed for people to play on. noisy as usual. nice to dig it out the attic and get it up and running again
