Your Top 3 M4L Devices?
Your Top 3 M4L Devices?
I'm curious what people find they are returning to again and again, what are the Max 4 Live devices you like the most?

Convolution Reverb Pro is fantastic. Always have two in my default set, though I'm slowly drifting away from using any reverb at all...some exceptions like drumkits.
Granulator II
LFO - though I avoid it now as it crashes sets 50%+ of the time. Probably need to update Max from 7.0.4. Can't be bothered.

- Magnetic from Dub Machines and several instances of Convolution Reverb are on my template set. I also really like most Amazing Noises stuffs very much.
- Granulator II. This Phase Distortion Synth which, surprisingly, nobody never talk about.
- My custom Push-ArrangeMode and SL4P devices which also are on my default set.
And, the new Bass from the updated Max Essentials is awesome imho.
Ok, that's a little bit more than 3, but it's already is a very stripped down list of my arsenal.

Well, the first two are easy.
Far out in front and present in every track - Convolution Pro, and LFO.
The others are all pretty equal, there is no third. They are all utility devices.
for example I use a modified version of that Expression device quite a bit: EG- for mapping aftertouch to a patch, or to have the LFO mappings scaled by aftertouch, or to scale one CC by another..
I've got a device which takes midi program change and uses that to flip "presets" in a rack, something Live should do natively. Very useful.
I also use a bunch of Erasermice's OSC things to send info to my iPad.
That's 3, right?

J74 VolcaControl, to hook up my Volcas.
Rozzers Step Sequencer is fun.
That's it for now. Not the most exciting list, I just bought the Max For Live upgrade a few days ago.

Glad so many people recommended Convo Pro, it's staple now on my new album, very nice.
