Follow actions > scenes > groups

Post by mrvinyl » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:55 pm

HI There,

Trying to find a workaround for follow actions.

I can;t seem to find a way of working with these unless I add empty clips.

I want to be able to apply follow actions to scenes. I don;t think this is possible so I've tried adding follow actions to groups which works ok but it won;t keep flowing unless there are empty clips to play.

Any tips?

Don't spend money on such a simple thing!!!

Just map a midi note to Launch (Let's say C2)

open a new midi track, route it to your IAC Driver

Create a midi clip of let's say 8 bars, then put C2 at the end of your clip, it will trigger next scene.

Just make sure IAC Midi input is set to Remote and output is set to Track.

If you have a PC you will need LoopBe to do this

MBP M1 Max 64 GB Ram, OSX 14.3.1
Live 10.1.43 Suite
Live 11.3.21
Live 12 Beta
Interface : Apollo Twin duo
