Can I record just one instrument of a rack?

Post by alexfsu » Tue Dec 08, 2015 11:01 pm

I have two instruments in a rack and I have an audio track set to take in one instrument of the rack, yet it's recording both still. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Tried Pre FX, Post FX and Post Mixer.

In the mixer of your audio track you have to choose the track with your instrument rack, and below there is the menue, where you choose Pre FX, Post FX and Post Mixer. But below of these three are a lot more opportunities you can choose. All the instruments of your rack are listed there, three times for every instrument: Pre, Post and Post Mixer.
