Movies
Re: Movies
Me Earl and the Dying Girl. Excellent movie if you are into high school hierarchy awkwardness with a slathering of terminal cancer, and who isn’t!

You’ll definitely walk away with a bummed out feeling and like it was a chapter of your life and not just a movie. It transcends [insert number] world problems. Sometimes problems are just problems.

Woohoo! Seriously. That's good.
Tried watching Mr. Holmes the othrt night but I couldn't fight falling asleep. I was nodding off like a junky.
Sicario.

Watched the Best of Enemies documentary on Netflix which covers the debates between Gore Vidal and William Buckley during the 1968 presidential nomination conventions and marks the start of when news went from just news to political opponents mostly hurling insults at each other and the party’s ideals. Scarily enough economically speaking they were making the exact same arguments we are today, richest 5% owning the bulk of the wealth vs. people at the bottom being lazy moochers. So in at least the past 47 years of different parties being in power we’ve accomplished nothing.

Well. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was thoroughly enjoyable. It's a good movie and a great Star Wars movie. Gotta see it again.

I’m not really a big Star Wars fan. I’m looking forward to seeing it but it won’t be through fanboy glasses.
I’m also not a Star Trek fan either. I thought the last 2 Star Trek movies were pretty good but I also forgot about both of them within a week.

Re: Movies
I've been a huge SW fan since I was 8, but, as with most of my other interests, I've turned kind of lukewarm (no pun intended) and indifferent over the last few years. So I was very happy when this film awakened (sorry; can't help it) my inner child again. It felt like the Star Wars of my childhood.
I could mention a thing or two that could have been better, but I don't want to spoil anything.

Glad I can wait til it's out on tv, although I always had confidence Abrams would do it well.
