It's not a nice fit (as in it hugs the contour of the device and the raised knobs). It's more of a "stick something wobbly on top" kind of fit. I've taken it off and use the foam protection that came with the Push 2. It's a little big and unwieldy.

It sits on top but doesn't work as a ‘lid’.... the footprint of Push 2 is slightly larger.

There is a cover by Prodector for Push 2: http://www.thomann.de/gb/prodector_push_2.htm

My old Prodector cover does not fit exactly on the Push 2 (the new Push is slightly larger), so I doubt that the Decksaver Push 1 cover will fit a Push 2.

It definitely will not fit. Compare the top left of the two versions of Push.

does it fit the angled usb chord on the back ? or do you need to plug it out everytime you use the cover ? by the pictures of the back it looks like the ableton usb cable will touch the cover...

Unfortunately, the Push 1 plastic Desksaver does not fit on the Push 2. Just tried.
