Sonic state/Nick Batt sit down with a Melodyne wizzard http://youtu.be/zqZHZEMroas

I have to say the tempo mapping, adjustment and beat detection stuff looks very very good, I wish Ableton's was like that. I'm super bored of robot tempi

Very cool. Have to say Ceremony are pretty great. I picked up a copy of Melodyne Editor v2 for peanuts a while ago, and it qualified me for a $150 upgrade to their $900 flagship Studio v4.

Going back to this, I'm excited. I've always wanted a Polivoks, the Soviet era Minimoog, with even more bite. Harvestman put out modulars based on the original Polivoks design and components even with the original developers help. Wondering how much just the keyboard alone will cost? Guessing +/- $500 maybe even 900... hopefully not.

Arturia has announced its flagship analogue synth will launch with an RRP of £1619, but we're expecting to see it with a street price of £1539/€1999/$2199. Not only that but the first units look set to be available in the UK in late May 2016.

Everyone knows what Arturia firmware is like though, right?
like ... don't buy this until you have taken a gooood look at their forums after the first few units sold.

and when they post "New firmware coming soon to address all the issues." yeah, just wait a little while.
