Is your keyboard a synth? Do you have additional midi controllers (faders/knobs)?

I'm guessing either your keyboard is not sending a proper note off message, or you have some gear sending 'sustain pedal' hold, which is cc 64. Or in a rare case, it would be that you turned the Release really high on a sound.

Does this happen on all sets or just one? Does it happen with all your controllers disconnected (using your typing keyboard to play the notes instead)?

I really think you should try to unplug your gear, open a new set, and see if notes hang or stick when you try to play an instrument wth your qwerty.

If they do not, then one of the keyboards is interfering (probably a fader that is unmapped, sending cc#64).

If your notes still do stick, then there is something weird going on.

Well, first we would have to find out if that is actually the problem. You can't just guess that it's the problem and change it for no reason. It has to be determined to be causing the problem in the first place.

If you don't know what's causing the problem, you won't be able to resolve it if it happens again. Then you'd be in the same situation.
