Re: Push 2 Scales
Tarekith do you know where ableton stands on giving us unfettered control of midi note mapping?
Re: Push 2 Scales
Do we get an answer to this?
Is it coming?
It has no chance of coming?

Re: Push 2 Scales
is what coming, you mean an answer or do you mean the feature?
an answer is surely coming.

Re: Push 2 Scales
Well, an answer in the first instance would be nice.

Re: Push 2 Scales
no response yet?...... must be on the way.
Re: Push 2 Scales
Even if I did know something (and I don't in this case), I would not be able to talk about it prior to release. I will say Ableton is well aware of how many people want this added back from Push 1.starving student wrote:Tarekith do you know where ableton stands on giving us unfettered control of midi note mapping?

Re: Push 2 Scales
oh wait I didn't know push 1 could do this, so let me confirm with you , you can change the midi note of each pad to whatever you want on push 1?
Re: Push 2 Scales
I thought you guys were talking about wanting the scales from Push 1 back as options in Push 2?

Re: Push 2 Scales
that would certainly be great and is very much desired, but in addition to that what is being requested is the ability to press a pad, and turn a knob to set the midi note number on that pad. So that you can design your own custom note mapping quickly and easily with whatever midi notes you want.

user-defined MIDI-tuning each Push pad (without duplications,100% freedom in customisation/layout programming)
= user-defined scales (KEYs)

Re: Push 2 Scales
if it's not going to be implemented tomorrow that's ok but I just want to know if and when they are going to implement this very basic feature.
an mpc can do this, a trigger finger can do this.... I spent good money on this premium controller, it's not too much to ask.
