Tarekith do you know where ableton stands on giving us unfettered control of midi note mapping?

Even if I did know something (and I don't in this case), I would not be able to talk about it prior to release. I will say Ableton is well aware of how many people want this added back from Push 1.

oh wait I didn't know push 1 could do this, so let me confirm with you , you can change the midi note of each pad to whatever you want on push 1?

I thought you guys were talking about wanting the scales from Push 1 back as options in Push 2?

that would certainly be great and is very much desired, but in addition to that what is being requested is the ability to press a pad, and turn a knob to set the midi note number on that pad. So that you can design your own custom note mapping quickly and easily with whatever midi notes you want.

Not Exactly.

Yes!
user-defined MIDI-tuning each Push pad (without duplications,100% freedom in customisation/layout programming)
= user-defined scales (KEYs)

if it's not going to be implemented tomorrow that's ok but I just want to know if and when they are going to implement this very basic feature.
an mpc can do this, a trigger finger can do this.... I spent good money on this premium controller, it's not too much to ask.
