I need some advice about small home studio...
Until now I have had an apartment with a fairly nice large room I could use as a dedicated studio
I have however decided to move into a smaller apartment. Not much space for a music room
I am contemplating mixing a lot of the time without monitors.
I understand there are some plugins that allow you to simulate a mixing room on your headphones. How well do these work? Any particular recommendations?
On the whole I feel a bit sad about losing my music room, and am looking for advice on how to make the change without too much impact on my music making...

Get a good set of headphones that's supported by sonarworks, get their plugin, and get waves nx and you'll be a long way towards replicating the feel and sound of accurate studio monitors. Open backs are probably preferable but closed can be more convenient.
