Third party plugins....

Hey. I have this Native Instrument Vst called
Platinum Bounce. Some of you guys prolly have heard of it.

When I set up ableton 9. It scanned and found all my Native Instrument plugins/Vst like Komplete 10 ultimate but it didn't find Platinum Bounce.

How can I bring this Vst into Ableton 9?

Hey Clint, this is a Maschine expansion, right?

I checked on the product page and it says you need Maschine to run it - so I guess it doesn't show up as a regular VST. Maybe some Maschine folk can chime in here.

You know what, I didn't think about that.
Yes, it's a Maschine expansion and because of that Ableton might not pick it up like Komplete.

Hopefully, like you said, some Maschine guys might see this thread and be able to advise....

Wish I could be more help, mate! My guess is it might only work inside of Maschine. At first I thought it was something that would work inside of Kontakt but it doesn't look that way, Clint. Boo!

Yes Platinum Bounce is a Maschine expansion. As such it will only be visible inside Maschine. You can of course use the VST of Maschine in Ableton. If you wanted once you had it instantiated you could pull the audio or MIDI out of a given Platinum Bounce project and set it up in Ableton without Maschine. Kind of a PITA though...
