u-he Hive CG animation

Post by tedlogan » Sun Jun 12, 2016 9:09 am

Last year I started a personal project so I can add to my CG portfolio. I married a robotic wasp thing to u-he's Hive GUI as the wasp's wings. I wanted to do a whole 3-5 minute short story, but time does not allow this anymore, so I let go of it and threw together some bits n bobs into short clips:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilRAqF7nvd4 this, one for me at least, is ever so slightly out of sync with the music, but only on YouTube. The file on my PC is in sync. Hilariously, 78.4% of the synth bits were made with Podolski. I sense the care-o-meters to be at zero.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKJCysZA3ps and some animatics - quick playblasts in Maya thrown together, various tests and sequences.

I posted this in the u-he forum over at KVR a few months ago, but thought why not post it here too.

cheers
