stop switching device view for clip launching?

Post by swishniak » Thu Aug 25, 2016 10:11 am

is this possible?

further explanation; when pads are in session view i would like to be able to launch a clip on a differnt channel but keep the device view of push's screen focused on a device until i select a different channel (not have it be selected by launching a clip on a different channel). . does this make sense?

it would follow the workflow of the apc / touchable / etc. . .

You could right click the device and lock the device to push.

thanks for the reply but id like to be able to do this as a general way of working / mixing. . confused why they would make it like this.

anyone else?

or is there a good reason why they made it like this?

This isn't an issue with Push but an issue with your preferences.

Go to preferences and click the Record, Warp, Launch tab.

Turn off "Select on Launch"
