And 'fall' I guess, for those in the Evil Empire.

But it's spring down here in Cape Town. Some evenings, the nights are warm down in the city bowl.

A jam using percussive loops made in Zebra and then throwing them into Live's Simpler, playing the new slices, and seeing what happens. A Live rack is on FX automation duty.

ahh the city bowl, woodstock. I have not been there in almost two decades, though I do visit the general area every Xmas time. I hail from Cape Town myself.

i am northern so yes, it is autumn :)

i just finished another collaborative album with a long term project, we seem to do one session at this time in october every few years

this is another in the vein of found sound, field recording, drone, experimental, ambient, minimal beat, cut-up sound collage type of thing. this time incorporating occasional piano and a fair bit of korg volca bass. improvised straight into ableton and then built on from there

I made this last night. The track is very much Autumn and not Spring :)

Leaf percussion is a very short field recording, thrown into simpler , Piano is The Maverick + blackhole plugin and 'clarinet' is Zebra

Part of a series called 'The Detective' - https://soundcloud.com/junklight/sets/the-detective - some modular as well in the other tracks in the series

Here's something I've been working on the last few days in Auxy on my iPhone7. Some light mastering in Triumph, but otherwise it's all exported right from Auxy.

I liked vibe a lot, some good atmospheres there. The drums being ever so slightly panned to the left kept throwing me off though. Otherwise solid tune!

I liked the middle section a lot, the mainly rhymic bits front and end were a little too chaotic for me personally. But I'm getting old, so what do I know? :)

Really touching and heartfelt. Needs more limiter though, crank it to -6LUFS and this would really bump more in the club.

(I kid, beautiful song)

Having seeing a harvest, cow foot, AND a snail all on my morning walk, this really resonated with me. I liked the atmospherics a lot, really trippy. Some of the more obvious electronic blips and bleeps seemed a little out of place to me, but it's a minor point.

Hey, this is really good! I liked this a lot, maybe just a little too much of the leaf sounds though, but not much.
