Hello,
Here's my first ever attempt at a House track - using Ableton Live 9, TAL NoiseMaker VST synth and native Live effects/processors:

I'm trying to get better at making this stuff sound more professional, so any honest + constructive feedback is appreciated
(e.g. my other half said the kick is too loud/monotonous)

The kick sounds good but there is little in the way of hi-hats to drive the groove and you're missing the high frequency melodies.
The vocal doesn't really work for me either - keep it up though, love a bit of house music
