In the enveloppe tab of a clip, add a track destination menu (default to 'this track') on top of the two that we currently have.
Automation from anywhere to anywhere.
Any structural reason for this not to happen ?

This would be great! It's kinda what I'm currently using a MIDI loop-back setup to achieve.

Yep. But having the names of the target + convenience + precision as a bonus !Pitch Black wrote:This would be great! It's kinda what I'm currently using a MIDI loop-back setup to achieve.

I wonder how well the automatic latency offsetting of envelopes will be handled between interlinked tracks which could be looped back on each other. I can see a big problem in implementation which people will find acceptable. I mean - they only just got envelopes in time!
