Ableton logo color has changed from alone
Can someone explain me why my Ableton logo changed its color from blue to orange?
Re: Ableton logo color has changed from alone
Each version has a a different color, Intro is gray, Blue is Standard and that Orange is Suite.
[edit: got it wrong, Intro is green (I used it until some weeks ago and still forgot somehow) and Suite is gray, like the boxes and parts of the site]

Strange. I have Suite for nearly two years now and when I saw the orange logo today I could swear it was blue beforepottering wrote:Each version has a a different color, Intro is gray, Blue is Standard and that Orange is Suite.

Yup - I'm pretty sure the red indicates a beta version. I currently have regular and beta version of Suite...and the beta is a cheerful red icon.yur2die4 wrote:Did you download a beta?

Sorry, I only have Standard (upgraded from Intro) so I assumed that was Suite's color.

Could it be that Ableton messed things up with the automatic update function?

Weird, orange is definitely for the beta versions.

Did you have a beta installed at some point? If so, that's probably enough. Could just be a fluke though. Cleaning out the caches could possibly be a solution.

Well, that grey is certainly the regular version of Suite...even says 9.7.1...how odd.Novaliz wrote:No, I didnt This is my current version. But it looks like a beta:yur2die4 wrote:Did you download a beta?

Don't worry, this is an insignificant mistake in the build.
Thanks for pointing this out anyway!

Will this be fixed? Although Live 9 is not developed any longer, this "end state" is somewhat undesirable for some users.
