Short video clips launching in Session View ?
Short video clips launching in Session View ?
Dear Peoples,
I want to make a "mashup" of very short music video clips, including their audio (just a few bars long).
I want to do that "live'
So, would be great if you could just load these small video clips into Live's Sessen View slots
and trigger them with a midi controller, just as you can do with audio clips.
Futhermore i want to have the ability the do some video fx on the clips.
For example, would be great if you can see some video transition fx when a new videoclip slot is started.
Someone with good experience with this all can recommend me how to do this exactly ??
I am a total noob with video possibilities inside Live.
Warm regards.

Re: Short video clips launching in Session View ?
Session View does not display video, they are only shown in Arrangement View.

Live is not the right software for this.
Look into Resolume. It does pretty much exactly what you describe.

Re: Short video clips launching in Session View ?
Vizzable is perfect for that, it's a complete video processing environnement in ableton live.

Re: Short video clips launching in Session View ?
Video sync seems nice (I haven't tried it) but to me vizzable is more complete although there hasn't been any updates for a while (version 3 has been pending for some time) ... If you choose vizzable, i suggest you to use the 32 bit version of live as there are some issues with vizzable with live 64 bit.
