Launchpad : Visual feedback in user 2 mode

Post by zloaz » Thu Feb 16, 2017 5:01 pm

Hi there,

Long time Live user but fresh Launchpad user here and I'd like to sort out a certain problem.
With a Launchpad mini, on the "User mode 2", I've mapped a "device on" live effect on a pad so when I hit the pad, I activate/desactivate the device.
Now I would like to know if it's possible to have the pad lighted up/off depending of the device state ?

I now it's a ableton forum but I guess maybe someone can help me with that.

I have achieved something similar to what your describing by using dummy clips and midi learn. you can change the colour of the button using note velocity, i am on a mrk one launch pad so this could be different for you.
