Hi,
How do I import a tempo map from a midi file?
I have a midi file containing tempo information and want my session to follow it.

Easiest way would be to render it to audio, turn on warp and then set it as Master in its clip properties.

Thanks. I actually have the answer now.
By default, when importing a midi file with tempo information Ableton will issue a prompt asking whether or not I want to import the tempo map. I must have previously ticked "don't show this message again" and so didn't get the message when I imported the files.
Under Settings/Look And Feel there is an option to "restore "don't show again" warnings". I clicked that, re-imported the midi file, got the prompt asking if I wanted to import the tempo map, clicked "yes" and hey presto!
