I hope ableton implements something similar in future firmware versions... meanwhile I used for that a great program called BOME´S MIDI TRANSLATOR The main idea was to access to all keyboard shortcuts and functions of live from push, so there won´t be need of a keyboard anymore... besides I used a multitactile screen instead of mouse...
