A-B slider

I just recorded from session to arrangement view while using the A-B slider. However, the automation from A to B was not recorded. Does anyone know a way to use the slider and record resulting volume automation to arrangement view?

you have to enable "automation arm", the manual automation button, first, it's that button on th etop that looks like a chain link. then look in master automation lane and it will show the automation after you record.
