Need Helps for Midi problem (Advanced) 2017
Hi everybody
I am writing this message because I have been blocked by a problem for several weeks, and I can not find any solution on the web.
I try to divide each note of a midi file, into several clips in "session view".
(i need each note to have it's own clip in session view).
For now, the only solution I found, it's copying each note one by one, creating a clip for each note.
Is there a better way (faster) to do it? Because it's very long to it when a midi file have a lot of notes.
I will put below an image to show you the idea,
I really hope that you can help me with this problem,
Best regards!!!
JC

Depends what your trying to do, but just "auto-populate notes to clips" type of thing? Then no....
But what are you actually trying to achieve? Maybe can help with that?

Hi and thank you for your quick reply !
I think that i will have to do it manually..
But maybe you can help me with another question, i would like to midi map a button with the function "Lunch the last clip played"
I think that i would need to do this with a script..

Yeah, dunno that you can do that. You can play specific clips that you pick, or play the clip above or clip below, but I don't think you could do the last one that played without a script, but I know nothing about that end of stuff.

Do you have max4live?
Like the_subject, I don't exactly understand why you are only cut/pasting note for note.
Nonetheless, Isotonik's MultiClip Editor would at least allow you to put the source and destination on the same screen. So you can decide if that's worth the price...

Hi,
Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but can't you just duplicate the tracks and remove the notes you don't need from each one?
Alternatively upload your .als somewhere so we can have a look!
