Akai APC40 Fader UK Parts Seller?

Hi everyone,

I bought a second-hand APC40 recently. It was a good deal, but when it arrived I found that one of the faders (track 4) does not work. I've tried compressed air and fader lube to no avail. So I rang a local audio repair shop, who told me they're unwilling to take the job because they've struggled to get parts for APC40 in the past. So I'm thinking that if I want the fader working then I might be better placed to find someone to repair it if I track down the part myself, the job itself being well beyond my own capabilities!

The only place I've found is MPCstuff in the US, but their shipping costs are extortionate. That has led me here: does anyone know of a supplier in the UK (or possibly even the EU)?

Solved. Just in case anyone else ever has this problem, you get hold of Akai out of warranty repairs with these numbers: http://community.akaipro.com/akai_profe ... for-apc-40. UK no is 44(0)1252-896040.

Labour £30 an hour, and parts are inexpensive.
