Crackles when select track.
Good day!
I have the big template for improvising performances in Ableton with push 2.
All works fine but unfortunately, sometimes i have single crackles when I select different tracks of my template.
It occurs not every time, but with different volume.
When I select drum track, for example, it appears very loudly, when I select some vst synth it can occur more quietly, but when I select tracks with Ableton synths it does not occur.
I really confused this fact, because on the big sound systems on the gigs it is unpredictable damaging my sound.
Could you advise some ways to fix this bug?
win 7, 16 gb, i7 quad, rme uc, ableton 9.7.1
Have a nice day, Kuzma

Re: Crackles when select track.
Try deselect the option "Reduced latency while monitoring" in one of the menus up there, may help.
Re: Crackles when select track.
Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate, but it's mentioned in the manual.
Reduced latency while monitoring could do with a little crossfade to prevent that click while the latency is shuffled between the two modes (monitoring/playing)

Re: Crackles when select track.
Back in the day it used to be beneficial to remove any stop buttons from clip slots that do not need them. Not sure if this is still the case, but worth a shot.

Re: Crackles when select track.
Thank's for answers!
Crackles became less often heard and it sounds much more quietly,
(after I switch off "Reduced latency while monitoring"). Thank's!
It still sounds sometimes especially on the drum track tracks.
Could you advise some way to reduce it completely?
Nowtime, I didn't understand precisely feature about stop buttons. Just for fun, I deleted it, but it didn't influence on the sound.
Anyway, I'm using clips, so it isn't appropriate way.

the idea is to disable the stop buttons on all empty session clip slots, especially if you have a big template...KuzmaKuznetsov wrote: Nowtime, I didn't understand precisely feature about stop buttons. Just for fun, I deleted it, but it didn't influence on the sound.

…and to reactivate them for when you need playing clips to actually stop when triggering a scene. Which is maybe obvious, but to be complete.fishmonkey wrote:the idea is to disable the stop buttons on all empty session clip slots, especially if you have a big template...KuzmaKuznetsov wrote: Nowtime, I didn't understand precisely feature about stop buttons.
