ableton push 3
is there gonna be an ableton push 3 with live 10?
or something else like an ableton piano (good idea)

Re: ableton push 3
No, Ableton presented what new features Live 10 has in store for Push 2. I don't think a new hardware version is on the horizon any time soon though I am eagerly waiting for a drop in price or special offer.MCMusubi wrote:is there gonna be an ableton push 3 with live 10?
No offense but I don't think that's a good idea. Ableton isn't about that and I can't think of something an "Ableton piano" could bring to the table that a good third party MIDI controller/keyboard like the Novation Launchkey or something from NI can't already.MCMusubi wrote:or something else like an ableton piano (good idea)
Re: ableton push 3
The Push 2 is pretty much future proof. It’s like a Tesla car, there were so many features not activated at release that will now be discovered in Live 10. I knew this from buying the Retouch Pusher2 script for reason and saw all the instruments icons in color on the Push screen. It seems that developer spilled the details early about the Potential of the Push 2.
I’d like to see a Push Mini with just 16 pads and note repeat buttons.

I think push 3 will come soon. Push 2 was released with no previous sneak peak even though push 1 quality is inconceivable. They'd like to open the possibility for new coming musicians to buy carelessly even though they almost developed the new version of hardware. Ableton is a little different than other companies nowadays. Not like old days music companies are honest and giving more information about their products, but Ableton likes hide new coming products so you might spend more money for their development. Ableton is very cute. It's gonna be paid back.

You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.ableton4Ubuntu wrote:even though push 1 quality is unconceivable.

A midi keyboard with 16 push pads is not a bad idea. I could appreciate having less devices and better use of space.BoddAH wrote:No offense but I don't think that's a good idea. That's the archaic form of inconceivable.BoddAH wrote:You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.ableton4Ubuntu wrote:even though push 1 quality is unconceivable.
Basic gear info: Macbook Pro with macOS 10.12, Ableton Live Suite version 9 (64bit) with Ozone, Push and APC20 as controllers.
