What if there was a command (right-click) to "Clean Up Automation" which would remove unnecessary dots that get written in when you record automation with a midi controller. Like the dots in between dots that don't alter the sound at all, they just make editing more time consuming because I have to remove them if I want to make a curve or something like that. Of course the hold-shift-and-drag feature helps with that a lot, but I want to be able to clean up big sections of automation all at once.

What about Thinning Aggressiveness in Options.txt? Does that (partly) meet your needs?

I wish you could enter dots via keyboard, them move them... Any way to do this??? I looked around a fair bit...
Then again, there's a LOT of things I wish I could do without the mouse :'(
